11/10, Most AAA Horror Games don't even have anything close to the lore in bad parenting, the plot twist was good, it didn't feel corny, it also made sense with the rest of the game,
The part where the mom turned her head was the most chilling scare in ANY of the horror games I played, the atmosphere was a nightmare, If the sequel is anywhere near the same as this one, this has to be the best indie horror series on ITCH.IO
I massivily enjoy playing this game. The story and horror was great I was hooked from the start and the game got me scared from time to time. I give this game a 5/5. Can't wait to see the second game.
This horror told me a better story in around 25 minutes of gameplay than AAA games do in hours. Cheers to the dev. It just not only make you scared: the game make you feel suffer for what's going on. Even I cried with the ending...

nothing could’ve prepared me for this game! You did an incredible job! A 20 minute experience stayed on my mind for hoursssss! The story, the art style, the multiple twists and turns and realizations BRAVO on a masterpiece ‼️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 and I definitely cried—during my playthrough and while editing!
I saw this game going around the past couple days I thought the style looked interesting. I wasn't prepared for the ride I got. Brilliant stuff, I can't wait to see what you do in the future! ^^
A lot of indie horror games handle the themes of absentee parents/alcoholism/mental disorders in a very clumsy or haphazard way, but Bad Parenting was such a refreshing take on some of these dark themes. The cartoonish art style was reminiscent of ye olde stop-motion animation films and this mirrored the palpable feeling that something wasn't quite right in the household. This game led me down a rabbit hole, and I certainly wasn't prepared for the end result!
By using 'Ron Jr' (as I called the doll in my playthrough) as a way to relay the message across using the imagination of the child was enthralling, and it felt like as I neared the heart-wrenching conclusion it was like I didn't want to find out the truth. I really didn't want to find out the truth.
Captivating, mesmerising and unique in a way that sets this a bar above most indie horrors.
